Let's Get ETHICAL!

Let's Get ETHICAL!

We are thrilled to announce that dPost has won this year's Buffalo Business Ethics award, an honor that recognizes our commitment to operating with a strong moral compass and dedicated ethical practices.

(Would it be un-ethical to #humblebrag?)

As a company that has been rooted in the heart of downtown Buffalo for nearly 25 years, we have always strived to operate with integrity and respect for our community, which isn't easy when you're in the professional creative business.

And now, with this prestigious award, we feel inspired and energized to continue carrying that banner as an ego-free + ethically run company that crafts memorable creative that sticks with audiences.

It might sound silly, but at dPost, we believe that operating with ethics isn't just the right thing to do, it's actually good for business too.

"When we make decisions that prioritize ethical considerations, it creates a ripple effect that impacts not only our team and clients, but also our community as a whole"

-Andy Donovan, President + Founder, dPost

When Andy Donovan founded dPost nearly 25 years ago, he didn't set out to be the biggest creative company, but rather one that found ways to do things with more empathy (and less cynicism).

Tired of working for larger corporations that would prioritize bottom-line profits over clients well-being or satisfaction, it led to high turnover/burnout amongst creatives, feeling put-off by what their creativity had been used for.

Instead, Andy built a company with a steadfast commitment to ethical practices. From the way we treat our employees – offering fair wages, generous benefits, and a supportive work environment – to the way we approach client relationships, always prioritizing transparency and honesty, we believe that doing good by businesses leads to doing well for those businesses.

And it's not just about the bottom line – we feel that it's our responsibility to give back to the community that has supported us for so many years.

That's why we've collaborated with local nonprofits to offer pro bono work and mentorship, and why we've made a pledge to continuously be good neighbors here in the city that's built by them.

As part of the nomination process, several clients offered blush-inducing praise, for example this gem from our friends at Lowe's...

Our friend Bailey at Lowe's saying nice stuff about us 🤭
"The team at dPost is transparent and fair with each project – from outlining costs to hiring talent, we trust them. We feel confident that we are getting the best value for the work and that there won’t be hidden charges along the way. We also love how connected to the Buffalo community dPost is. We often have high-valued products that we can donate and dPost always finds the perfect organizations for these products.”

- Bailey Surrett, Senior Director, Lowe's Advertising

Thanks, Bailey! While we are incredibly honored to win this award, we know this is just the beginning.

We are humbled and grateful to receive the Buffalo Business Ethics Award, and we hope that our commitment to ethical practices will inspire others to do the same.
