What an incredible night for the dPost Cabin!
AAF-Buffalo just held its annual awards show at Villa Maria College, themed with a bit of a retro 'Summer Camp' feel, and by the end of the night, we were feeling like very cool campers ourselves.
For the past few years, the Buffalo creative community has asked dPost to help with the opening video, showreels and just about everything that involves putting on the show, and we were happy to jump in once again this year.
That said, we did change things up a bit for the opening video. Instead of a live-action parody, we embraced the "Camp Wannawinanaddy" theme by taking a step back in time to capture the nostalgic essence of summer camp and created a retro 3D piece with a decidedly 'campy' vibe. Check it out!
And while making that opener was a prize in its own right, we were honored to take home 7 awards across multiple categories.
From Elements of Advertising to Online/Interactive to Public Service, Online + Video, even a coveted 'Judge's Choice' for our work on a campaign for Music Artist Grabbitz's new Album release.

The AAF Awards we received this year are, as always, a testament to dPost's commitment to craft in all areas of creative content production.

So with that, a paper plate award to the incredible AAF board + team at Mr. Smith for helping us craft a camp out of thin air. The talent + creativity of the WNY region is worth all the nights working round the proverbial campfire.
